June 29, 2020 - Performance, Agility, Speed and Strength Summer Camp Update!

EliteLevelPT and P.A.S.S. Program families,

In this time of national and global chaos and uncertainty, we realize that things can get confusing. The staff at EliteLevelPT continues to follow the latest in state and national information regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19). The situation and information are changing daily if not hourly and we are doing our level best to stay in the know. Not only for ourselves, but to make sure we inform you, our “family” as best we can.

With that being said, you may have heard about Governor Ducey’s recent executive order regarding “Pausing of Arizona's Reopening; Executive Order 2020-43”. Rest assured we were not caught off balance by this order and have not only read it thoroughly multiple times, but we have also sought out trusted counsel for advice regarding the order’s parameters.

Physical therapy and other dedicated services are being listed under “Essential Services” as defined by the Governor of Arizona. That means that we are open to you for therapy care and performance training.

In a continued effort to follow guidelines to keep our athletes and clients safe, our goal is to always go above and beyond to disinfect all our equipment, countertops, furniture and all high traffic areas sanitizing them multiple times to ensure a safe and clean environment. In keeping these practices within our training and treatment clinical setting, we are also following Centers for Disease Control's (CDC) for cleaning to ensure the health and safety of our athletes and our staff. We are also providing multiple hand sanitizer stations for regular use during your time in clinic.

With fitness centers and clubs being suspended for the next 30 days, we are capable to provide the physical care and performance training that you require or need. We will continue to monitor the situation and keep you informed so that you and we can make the best decisions in these uncertain times regarding your health.

Please do not hesitate to contact us directly at (623) 512-6065 or at info@elitelevelpt.com if you have any questions or concerns. We encourage everyone to stay informed, stay safe and stay healthy.

Sincerely,

ElitelevelPT Staff

June 21, 2020 - Performance, Agility, Speed and Strength Summer Camp Update!

EliteLevelPT and P.A.S.S. Program families,

I’m sure you are all aware of our Arizona mayors have made it mandatory for face masks to be worn by all persons six years old or older, when they leave their home or place of residence and shall wear the face covering whenever they are within six feet of another person who is not a member of their family or household. So, starting this week June 22, 2020 all Elitelevelpt guest will be required to wear a face mask. Athletes that are working out in our program are not required to wear a mask when they are training in our facility.

Everything has been going well in our first two weeks and we have been very disciplined in keeping our facility sanitized and athletes safe. So as a friendly reminder please review below and remind your child to continue to join us in keeping our facility clean and safe for all of us.

  • If you are sick, have been sick recently or been in contact with someone who has been/is sick, please stay home. Please let us know as well.

  • At risk individuals, such as the older population and persons with preexisting conditions should stay home or stay away from the training environment.

  • We will limit the number of spectators at our events. If you are driving camps participants to our events, please drop them off at the designated entrances and return upon the completion of the camp timeframe. If you are uneasy in leaving your athlete, you are welcome to wait in your car on the premises.

  • There are no common hydration stations available at our facility during the introduction of larger group training events. Please have your athlete bring enough water to complete an hour to an hour and half of challenging training. Water bottles are not to be shared and will be discouraged even between siblings. Water and other options of hydration are available for purchase in various locations on the premises

  • All equipment will be sanitized before, during and after each session is completed and we are doing our best to establish “training pods” for our athletes. Bio-degradable disinfectant spray will be made available throughout the “pods” and clinic/gym areas for easy access and use.

  • Hand sanitizer will be available for all our athletes and will be conveniently placed in each “pod” and throughout the clinic/gym areas for easy access and use.

  • We encourage a positive and challenging environment, but due to the present situation with COVID-19, we will be limiting handshakes, high-fives and professional hugs. Verbal positive feedback, elbow bumps, and fist bumps will be the preferred method of acknowledgement and affirmation.

  • We will monitor the CDC, AZ State and federal websites and adhere to all recommendations regarding COVID-19 as best as humanly possible and will adjust accordingly as the situation and guidelines change.

  • We will respect any athlete’s desire to wear a face mask during their time training with us and will not tolerate any discrimination regarding the wearing of face masks within our facility. However, if you do choose to wear a face mask during training, you will need to provide one for yourself and dispose of it properly once you have left the facility/training area/property.

  • The placement and distribution of equipment including weights, cones and all other equipment will be solely the responsibility of our training staff.

We are very excited to be able to continue to give our best and provide top quality pre-season preparation performance training this summer to all our athletes. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us directly at info@elitelevelpt.com

May 5, 2020 - Performance, Agility, Speed and Strength Summer Camp Update!

EliteLevel PT and P.A.S.S. Program families,

We hope that all of you have been staying safe and healthy in these chaotic times. We understand, with heavy hearts, that some you may have been adversely affected by COVID-19 and we hope that better times are coming. It has been a tumultuous time for all. State and federal governments have been giving us new and changing information on a daily basis and we realize that this leaves all of us with certain confusion. COVID-19 has put everything in a state of suspended animation and uncertainty as we attempt to determine our best and safest way forward.

In preparing for our Performance, Agility, Speed and Strength Summer Camp. The most up to date state and federal guidelines for "Opening " allow for organized youth activities like camps to reopen in Phase II of the process. We do anticipate that additional state /federal guidelines will be forth coming, and we will include those requirements for participation in our Summer Performance Camp. The focus is and always will be the safety of our athletes.

Safety is and always been a top priority at EliteLevel PT and The P.A.S.S. Program. It is why we teach and train with proper technique using a science-based foundation at our core.  We train with appropriate supervision, indoors and with age appropriate exercises and expectations for all of our classes/age groups. We have supplemented this with more stringent cleaning procedures and will require that all participants follow the safety requirements we set forth.

  • As you have come to expect, we only employ certified trainers and coaches/physical therapists. This allows us to address all training needs and injuries with the expertise and professionalism you have come to know.

  • In addition to dealing with the rigors of training during our camps we will monitor any new requirements such as health questionnaires, temperature checks and equipment sanitization.

  • All equipment used during our performance camps will be wiped down after each use and at the end of each class and day.

Our performance camps/training sessions are by nature experiences in community. We will continue to give our best and provide the encouraging, positive, challenging, and motivating environment you have come to know when training with us. However, we will have some modifications in our daily activities. Some of the modifications will be seen/felt and some will go unseen, but with the emphasis on safety and health.

  • We do anticipate a reduction in group/class sizes per guidelines (we will limit class size to a maximum of 10 participants per class).

  • We will stress “social distancing” and hand sanitization regularly while in our clinic/gym areas.

  • We will modify the curriculum to minimize contact and big group gatherings and we plan to allow larger time frames between sessions to allow for proper safety and cleaning to occur.

  • Elite Level PT and The P.A.S.S. Program will make any needed curriculum updates that may be required during the camp day to ensure confidence in safety and health.

  • Our check in process will be simplified and limit large groups. We will limit spectators and request that all families and transportation plan ahead to best handle the situation.

We can assure you that we will deal with these uncertain and chaotic times with open and timely communication and encourage all of you to reach out to us regarding any questions or concerns that you may have about the camp. With that being said, now is the time to get signed up to reserve your spot in the camps. Spots will fill up fast and once classes fill up; we will make the announcement so you know you can register for the waiting list. We have seen great success in our athletes that participate, and we don’t want you to miss out on the opportunity. We look forward to working with you again this summer.

Sincerely,

Elite Level PT Staff
